This is just an image of two birds one apart and ready and the one I am using for this demo... Just it is a good shot to show you a before and after.

Carefully loosen the glue with a sharp craft knife you don't need a lot of pressure you only want to give yourself something to work with for the next step and you want to keep as much of the inner plastic "lip" as much as possible.

Now squeeze your birds butt and belly together you should be able to see a bit of the inner lip this is when you want to take something you can use to pry it apart.

Weapon of choice for me is my needle nose pliers they are small enough to force into the bird and strong enough to pry!

your going to move your pliers around the ring and slowly push the feet out. This can take a lot of time, and if the glue is weak it will take nothing but a moment. Some times you loose a bit of inner lip but that is not a huge issue. Your trying to avoid breaking the feet! Never pull on the feet themselves!

Now using your pliers you are going to pull out her inners and have what you see here a small washer for the head and this funky plastic washer for the tail. some come with a second metal washer for the tail. Keep these you will want them when you re hair!

Another picture of her without the hair and all her inners as outers. This is what you should have when all cleaned up ...
